The intent of this breeding is to pursue the solidification of quality versatile hunting attributes from several predominant lines by combining two dogs whose hunting attributes complement each other’s. As an added bonus excellent conformation and temperament should be supplied by two “V” rated dogs that are both highly biddable.

This breeding should produce excellent versatility and trainability by combining intensity in the field and tenacity in the water. Puppies will likely exhibit a high level of intelligence with the level- headedness and consistency necessary to perform well in all venues, i.e. field, forest, and water.

Minka is a very calm female with a high desire to please. She is tenacious in the water, methodical in the field and quiet when on the sidelines. She is an excellent blood tracker and her manner of retrieve on all game is impeccable.
 
She is a very biddable dog that any first time handler could have trained and done well with.
She enjoys being around people young and old.

Minka also has excellent (V) conformation with an elegant feminine head and form, dark pigment, very nice coat, tight feet and perfect lines. She was V1 at the 2008 NAKP.

Argus vom Sturmland (Male)

7 weeks

True to the focus of his breeding this is a very calm, laid back pup. Due to his calm, deliberate nature, he will likely be a great hunting companion. He has excellent conformation with a very nice top line,tale set and a deep chest. From every aspect this is an outstanding pup.

As indicated in the puppy info above Argus has turned out to be a very biddable and easily trained adult. He was awarded a prize one (all 4's) at the Solms and is currently being prepared for a 2012 VGP. You simply could not ask for a more biddable, trainable and intelligient dog.

In addition Argus recieved an SG (very good) adult confirmation rating at 18 months.

This is a pups that shows signs of being a very cooperative dog and will likely be easily trained. She is very attentive and very aware of her surroundings.She has excellent conformation with a great top line, a deep chest and a very dark brown pigment.

This very biddable female shows great potential in the field and water. She has a lot of drive and energy. Like her mother she is tenacious in the water and methodical in the field. It's likely that this female will be retained for potential breeding in 2013.

Anu recieved a Derby Prize I(J) with all 4's at seven months of age. In addition Anu has an adult V (Excellent) confirmation rating at 18 months. She is preparing for an AZP and VGP in Fall 2012.
